About the Film

Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Graham Northrup, An Aspen Christmas Conspiracy is a family-friendly Holiday Romantic Comedy with a little mystery to boot! The film is a love letter to the working class of Aspen, and the spirit of justice, love and holiday cheer.

Synopsis

Justin, a brash young lawyer, lands in Aspen as a Deputy D.A. To make ends meet, he bartends to make ends meet, and shares an apartment with Mercedes — a social worker and ski instructor with a heart of gold.

Sparks fly, but when Justin prosecutes Darla, Mercedes’ favorite client, their budding romance is put on ice. As tensions rise, a deeper conspiracy emerges, forcing them to team up for justice — and maybe love.

Can two opposites find common ground in the spirit of Christmas?

Starring Maura Fawley, Lyon Hamill, Ryan Honey, Wendy Perkins, and Owen O’Farrell, the film captures the magic of redemption, unexpected alliances, and love found in the unlikeliest of places. It has a clever blend of suspense and sparkle, positioning it as this season’s breakout holiday gem—ideal for fans seeking a little more depth (and drama) in their December viewing lineup.

Graham Northrup - Director/Writer/Producer


Graham is an award-winning 25-year veteran of stage and screen directing, including short films, series, documentaries and more. He graduated with an MFA in Directing from Baylor University in 2008, and continues to pursue his love of storytelling in various mediums. He is married to the greatest woman in the world, and is the father of 5 wonderfully talented daughters who continually inspire him.
